OUr Mission
Scare-It Halloween was started in 1992 with one vision: to bring our community together, and to provide a car-free and safe event for kids and families to take part in trick-or-treating.
Our Impact
This event allows us to serve between 6,000 - 10,000 kids and families every year, creating a safe environment in the inner city for everyone to participate in a long-standing tradition and holiday in the Kansas City metro. This event is put on every year by fundraising. We are in partnership with the Kansas City Museum, Kansas City Parks and Rec, and Neighborhood Tourism Development Fund (NTDF).

We raise money throughout the year from corporate sponsors, fundraisers, neighbors, and small businesses.
27+ Years Serving Communities
2023 will be our 29th year serving the Kansas City Metro region.
8+ Thousand Children Impacted
We are a family friendly event, serving 6,000 to 10,000+ kids and families from all over the metro.
